Barrel: P239 Cooperage: New American Oak, #3 Char, 53 gallons Barreled: July 8, 2015 Age: 2 years 8 months 16 days Medium copper hue, rich and viscous in the glass. Deep and rich aromas of dried beach plum, dried white cherry, sandalwood, incense, mango marmalade, and cocoa on the nose. The palate is woven with densely layered complexity of dried mango, cinnamon, tobacco blossom, leather, forest floor, sea spray, and pineapple blossom. The core of flavor is brooding and opens as the glass evolves with air contact. This Queen's Share repays patience and attention to the glass with a long finish vibrating between savory cellar aromas, spice of oak character, and delicate and detailed rummy notes.
