Details: ‘True decadence’ is how our Head Distiller described this rum. Made from our rarest distillate and finished in our rarest type of cask; this rum is very dear indeed. Three barrels of Queen’s Share were married in a Cognac cask in Sept 2019 to impart a French Oak finish. The name L’Alliance is a nod to the marriage of spirits made by Maggie and Peter, two of our distillers who are also a married couple. The depth and layered complexity of dried apple, sultana, black fig, toasted almond, earthy forest floor and cigar box will carry on long through the finish.
