Details: Over the course of Privateer’s evolution, a distinct style has emerged. Born of equal parts old world technique, American style, and New England climate, a unique yet familiar spirit was born. Intrepid is a fitting example of this evolution in a glass. Created with 100% Grade A molasses and fermented in a classic tradition, it initially benefited from the strong fingerprint of New American Oak. Through seasonal temperature shifts, New England’s maritime climate softened and balanced these flavors, while extended aging created new and complex layers of flavor and depth.

This, today, is a taste of Privateer’s future. A deep color with a pronounced nose and concentration of flavor, Intrepid includes notes of nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, caramel, and toasted almond.
