Shiner Single Barrel – #8

Distillery only release. A single cask, cask strength selection of our True American Amber rum. This cask had such a harmonious and layered, complex flavor it stood out as a complete expression that did not need to be blended with other casks to create balance. We marked it for reserve and have released it as it’s own expression at cask strength. Age: 2 years 6 months Matured in used Four Roses cask Bottles produced: 95 Distiller’s Notes: A soft tawny hue and delicate yet complex aromas of toast, tobacco leaf, dried acacia, heather, golden apple peel, sultana, nectarine, lemon peel, white pepper, allspice, cigar box, leather. Rich and coating on the palate, weighty and perfumed on the finish.
